Cooking method
1. In a suitable container for cooking, pour the whey - three liters. You can use a regular three-liter jar.
2. Add granulated sugar to the whey, mix.
3. Next comes the turn of celandine, which can be used both fresh and dried. In winter, celandine can be purchased at a pharmacy, in summer - to assemble yourself. Celandine needs to take a full glass. We will also need a clean gauze folded in two layers. We wrap celandine in gauze and immerse it in a sugar-whey mixture. We press some kind of cargo to the bottom, for example, you can use a teaspoon, which you first need to pour boiling water over.
4. Now we put sour cream in a container with future kvass. This must be done necessarily, since the necessary bacteria could die when heated (when the cottage cheese was being prepared). Without these bacteria, kvass will not work. Sour cream is best used with a small percentage of fat content.
5. We cover the container with a double layer of gauze, then put it in a dark place. Room temperature. We leave the jar there for a week.
6. During standing at the bottom of the jar, sediment will appear. Drain the liquid into another jar without affecting the sediment. That is, we drain about two liters, add a liter of fresh whey. We don't need the remaining sediment anymore - you can just pour it into the sink. We close the jar again and leave it for another two weeks.
6. When the time passes, the drink can be drunk. It is stored in the refrigerator for a long time. The lid must be tightly closed. Such a drink is taken, starting with minimum doses - no more than a tablespoon half an hour before meals. Gradually, the amount of the drink can be increased to 100 ml. The drink is taken for two weeks once a year.
