Cooking method
The process of making vodka is not simple. You will definitely need an alcohol meter. You also need to take a responsible approach to the selection of ingredients to get a good result. We take necessarily high-quality moonshine, double distillation, with a strength of 70 degrees. It is best to choose water in the children's department, since it is the softest and contains the least impurities, which is exactly what we need.
In the prepared container, and it is best to take a glass one, pour water. Add sugar to it, pour in lemon juice and mix everything well. With a thin trickle, we begin to pour moonshine into the container. It is important to follow these steps - it is the moonshine that is poured into the water, not the water into the moonshine. We close the container with a lid, after which we shake the liquid vigorously. We do this for a few minutes, then leave the bottle with the future vodka alone for a few hours - three is enough.
Now we will filter the future drink. To do this, we will need charcoal. It is best to choose coconut, but birch is also suitable. Special coal is easy to buy in specialized stores - both online and offline. The filter can be made from a plastic bottle: the bottom of the bottle is cut off, then a layer of cotton wool is placed in it, and charcoal is poured onto the cotton wool, which must first be crushed and washed from dust. The bottle is installed above the container into which the vodka is supposed to be filtered. And we begin to filter in portions - one liter each. A liter of vodka needs 50 grams of coal. Each time we replace a portion of coal with a new one.
The filtered vodka is hermetically sealed and sent to the refrigerator for a week. When this time passes, the vodka will be completely ready for use.
Happy holidays!
