Blue Curacao is a citrus liqueur of a beautiful blue color. You might think that citrus will drown out the taste of pineapple and coconut, but no - everything is perfect. The citrus shade only complements the tropical taste of the cocktail, adds an additional tart note, barely noticeable sourness, and the color obtained thanks to the liqueur resembles the ocean.
Fill the shaker with ice, use large cubes. Pour rum, coconut cream, which should be slightly sweetened, pineapple juice into it. Ideally, freshly squeezed.
Shake the shaker until the mixture cools. Not too long - about a minute. We do it right: shake the shaker from the bottom up or along the horizontal plane - from left to right. Do not swing from side to side.
Filter the mixture into a tall cocktail glass, which must be pre-cooled. To do this, we remove the glass for several hours in the freezer. or you can fill a glass with crushed ice for a couple of minutes, then throw it away.
If there is no shaker, you can replace it with a blender. Put all the ingredients in the blender bowl, mix everything with an immersion blender, making several pulsating dives. Then strain through a fine strainer into a glass.
Decorate the glass with a piece of fresh pineapple and serve with a straw and a cocktail umbrella.
If the day is very hot, you can add ice to the cocktail. The more, the better. A large amount of ice cools the drink, while the ice does not melt. If too little ice is added, it will melt and dilute the drink. This may worsen the taste of the cocktail.
Delicious refreshing cocktails!
