Prepare fortified wine and treat your friends! Cherry wine turns out to be dark red in color with a pronounced cherry aroma and a little tart in taste. It has a rich and rich taste, which is what homemade wines are famous for. Our company is especially fond of fortified wines, because for joint holidays with friends, my husband and I prepare just such. Cherry wine is a favorite.

To make wine, we will need a starter culture:
- pour boiled water at room temperature into a glass bottle;
- add raisins, pour sugar;
- close the neck with cotton wool and leave for 3-4 days in a warm place.
The finished starter can be stored in the refrigerator for about 10 days.

Now we are preparing wine:

1. We extract cherry juice from mature berries.
2. In the resulting cherry juice (about 7 liters), add water and sugar (1.6 kg).
3. We put the liquid on fermentation by adding the previously prepared raisin starter (this process takes 7-10 days).
4. Then we spirit the resulting wine by adding vodka to it.
5. We mix the wine and keep it for 5 days.
6. After the specified time, we filter the wine by straining it through gauze.
7. Add the rest of the sugar to the wine, stir and bottle.

You can safely taste!
