Step 1:
Let's start cooking corn porridge with pumpkin. Wash the pumpkin, peel and remove the seeds.
Step 2:
Cut the pumpkin into small pieces.
Step 3:
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and put the chopped pumpkin in it. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4:
Wash the corn grits.
Step 5:
Add milk, corn grits, salt and sugar to the pan. Bring the porridge to a boil and reduce the heat. Cook corn porridge on low heat for 30 minutes. Do not forget to stir the porridge, otherwise it may burn to the bottom of the pan.
Step 6:
It is better to wrap the finished porridge in warm pillows or a blanket for 20 minutes. If desired, corn porridge can be served with a piece of butter. Enjoy your meal!
