Cooking time: 1 h 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make pasta chips? Prepare all ingredients. You can choose any pasta for this dish: shells, farfalle, fusilli, penne and other varieties of pasta. Also, for this dish, it is better to use pasta not from durum wheat, but the most inexpensive pasta. Spices are better to choose according to your taste, you can use only salt, or you can add, for example, dried garlic or paprika.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

First boil the pasta until fully cooked according to the instructions on the package. As a rule, pasta not made from durum wheat must be cooked for 7-8 minutes. I advise you to first add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to boiling water, then boil the pasta in this water.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Fold the finished pasta into a colander, and then put them on a clean towel and dry. Excess moisture should go away.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Transfer the dried pasta to a container, sprinkle wheat flour on top of them, close the container with a lid and start shaking, shaking the pasta. Thus, all pasta should be covered with flour breading.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Heat the vegetable oil in a ladle. When the oil warms up, put the first portion of the pasta paned in flour into it. Fry them until golden brown for a few minutes. Also fry the remaining pasta in batter. Then put them on paper towels to remove excess oil. After roasting, the pasta should become firm and dense.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

When the oil is absorbed into the towels, move the fried pasta into a container, pour salt and your favorite spices on top, close the container with a lid and start shaking the pasta so that all the spices are evenly distributed.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Pour the pasta onto a plate and serve with your favorite sauces.

Of course, you do not need to abuse such a product, since such pasta turns out to be quite high in calories, but sometimes you can afford to indulge in such snacks while watching a good movie.

Use oil with a high smoking temperature for frying! Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it.
Unrefined oils, with rare exceptions, have a low smoking point. There are a lot of unfiltered organic particles in them, which quickly begin to burn.
Refined oils are more resistant to heating, and their smoking point is higher. If you are going to cook food in the oven, on a frying pan or grill, make sure that you use oil with a high smoking point. The most common of the oils with a high smoking point: refined varieties of sunflower, olive and grape.

If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
