Elbow Pasta in a Multicooker
Pasta cooks up fast in a multicooker, and these elbows come out wonderfully tender and soft. Serve them with braised meat, fried sausage, or meatballs — and for the kids you can even toss them with a little sugar. A filling, tasty dish.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Gather all your ingredients.
-
Step 2:
Pour the water into the multicooker and select the "Pasta" program.
-
Step 3:
Add salt to taste.
-
Step 4:
Once the water comes to a boil, the multicooker will beep to let you know it's ready. Add the pasta to the water and let the program run — it takes 8 minutes.
-
Step 5:
Stir the pasta with a spatula as it cooks.
-
Step 6:
Drain the cooked pasta in a colander and rinse with water.
-
Step 7:
Add a few pats of butter to the hot pasta; if you like, you can drizzle in a little vegetable oil too.
-
Step 8:
Toss the pasta and transfer it to a plate to serve. It makes a great side dish for meatballs. Enjoy!
