Simple apple jam without water

Apple jam is a great filling for sweet pastries! Due to the fact that the jam turns out to be thick, it does not flow out of the products during baking. It tastes just perfect - no store analogue can compare with it.

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

I really want to share with you this culinary recipe and tell you how to make apple jam. I do it every year. The jam turns out to be very tender, with pieces of apples, incredibly delicious. To make it, we need only two ingredients: sugar and apples.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Peel the apples, cut it with a knife, divide it into four parts and cut out the core. After that, cut the pulp into small pieces.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Put the apples in an aluminum basin and fill them with sugar, do not mix. We leave it in this form for the whole night.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

The next morning the apples will give juice, then we mix them well and put them on the fire for 10 minutes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

In the evening, boil the apple mass again for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally during cooking. We leave it until the morning. In the morning, boil the apples again for 15 minutes, let them cool down for 5 hours. And again boil for 15 minutes, cool for 5 hours. Then boil them for the last time, stirring so that the excess liquid evaporates. We roll the jam from apples into sterile jars (necessarily in hot form).

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Turn the jars upside down and leave to cool. You can store such jam at room temperature.

Apple jam according to this recipe turns out to be quite viscous - it can be used as a filling for pies, fried or oven pies and buns. And you can also just spread apple jam on a loaf - both children and adults love this kind of food very much. Sometimes I make toast out of a loaf and spread jam on them - such a snack flies off the table very quickly. I usually roll the jam in 0.5 liter cans or in liter cans. In winter, it goes very well with us, as I constantly cook sweet pastries, which our family simply adore, especially with such filling. Sometimes my supplies are not enough even for half the winter, so I have to cook it during this period. Fortunately, apples are sold all year round, and there is always sugar on sale. Try to cook and you!
