Five-Minute Lingonberry Jam for Winter

Not just delicious, but good for you too — give it a try! I love making five-minute jams, since they hold on to more of their vitamins — especially when it comes to wholesome wild berries. And here's a tip: this jam isn't just for serving with tea, it also makes a great filling for pies.

  • First, sort through the berries, picking out any fine debris and leaves. Transfer the lingonberries to a stainless steel (or enameled) pot and add the water. Set the pot over the heat and bring to a boil. Add the sugar a little at a time, stirring constantly. Keep the pot on low heat until the sugar fully dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, then pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal with the lids. Store the jam in a cool place. And that's it — your five-minute lingonberry jam for winter is ready!
