Salad with beef and pickled cucumbers

Simple meat salad made from available ingredients. A simple salad, reminiscent of the taste of Olivier salad, is suitable for a festive table and for a daily meal. In composition, it is much simpler than the famous salad, and the taste is not inferior to it at all.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 42 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a salad with beef and pickled cucumbers? Prepare all the necessary products. Take beef fresh, chilled - frozen products are much less useful. I use marbled beef - it is streaked with fat and the meat is not dry at all after cooking. Eggs are large, preferably homemade, at least with. Pickled cucumbers, which, however, can be replaced with pickled cucumbers. All products must be fresh, chilled.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Boil the beef, at the very end add a little salt to the water. The cooking time depends on the size of the piece, on average 500 g of beef requires about 30 minutes of cooking, although the longer this time, the softer the finished beef will turn out. You can also fry the meat - this will give the finished salad a completely unique taste and aroma!

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Cool the beef and cut into small cubes. I use beef in this salad, but it is quite possible to take pork, veal, and even chicken. Of course, the taste of the finished salad will be a little different, but still very tasty.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash cucumbers, dry them, cut off the buttocks. Cut the cucumbers into small cubes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Boil the eggs hard-boiled - this is about 8 minutes after boiling. Cool and cut into small cubes as well.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Combine all the chopped ingredients, add salt. Keep in mind that mayonnaise is also quite salty.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Season the salad with mayonnaise. Not all people eat mayonnaise, especially store-bought. Therefore, I strongly recommend using homemade mayonnaise. Or it can be replaced with sour cream or light yogurt, for example, Greek.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Serve the salad to the table. Bon appetit!

Of all the variety of salads, I try to cook only the simplest, but delicious.
This salad is one of them: it is very satisfying, tastes like the famous Olivier salad, only without peas and carrots.
Salad is great for a festive table or can be served for a family lunch or dinner as an independent dish or in addition to a hot one.
Bon appetit!

It's better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.

How to cook hard-boiled eggs? So that the eggs do not crack when cooking, put them in cold water and put them to cook on a small fire. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then pour cold water and cool. From a sharp temperature drop, the shell will be better cleaned.
