The preparation of the lightest canapes will not take more than 10 minutes, you can start cooking them already when the guests arrived, even if the visit turned out to be sudden. Cut the feta cheese into cubes. Its peculiarity is that the cheese can crumble when sliced. To keep the shape, the knife must be very sharp, and the movements confident and smooth.
Cherry tomatoes are the perfect choice for canapes. The small size allows tomatoes not to drain and look good in the finished dish. Tomatoes are washed and dried well, cut tomatoes into halves.
We take olives without a stone, drain the brine and leave them in a colander so that all the excess liquid goes away.
Collecting canapes. We spread pieces of feta cheese on a plate, put half a tomato on top, be sure to cut up, so the juice will not drain onto the cheese, and the canapé will retain its shape and appearance. Add the olive on top and pierce the entire billet with a wooden skewer.
We serve the canapes on a beautiful dish or plate immediately, until the cheese, tomatoes and olives have had time to chafe. If desired, you can supplement the dish with herbs, such as rosemary.
