Step 1:
The ingredients you'll need.

Wash and dry the plums, then halve them and remove the pits.

Put the plums in a preserving pot and cover them with the sugar.

Pour in the water and cook over low heat until it comes to a boil.

Grate the ginger.

As soon as it boils, skim off the foam and stir in the cinnamon and ginger. Leave it to cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally and skimming the foam.

Chop the walnuts.

Once the time is up, take the jam off the heat, let it cool, and stir in the walnuts.

Spoon the finished jam into sterilized jars and seal them tightly with lids. Store the jam in a cool place.
