Sweet and Sour Chicken with Noodles

A delicious, satisfying Chinese-style dish! This recipe turns out not just tasty but beautiful, too. Tender pieces of chicken in a bright orange sauce are absolutely addictive. Serve it sprinkled with fresh herbs and toasted sesame seeds, with a drizzle of sesame oil over the top. Give my recipe a try; it's finger-licking good!

    1. Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Rinse under cold water and drain in a colander. 2. For the sauce, wash the chicken fillet and cut it into bite-size strips. Fry the pieces in hot oil until nicely golden brown. 3. Add all the remaining ingredients (except the cornstarch) to the chicken and stir to combine. 4. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and pour it into the pan. 5. Cook, stirring quickly so no lumps form, for about another 15 minutes. Toss the chicken and sauce together with the noodles. Pile onto a serving platter and bring to the table.
