Black elderberry berries have medicinal properties and help with colds and stomach problems. In addition, black elderberry jam is an excellent delicacy.
The recipe for cooking is quite simple.
Elderberry berries are thoroughly washed under warm water.
We sort out the berries and remove them from the twigs.
Put the required amount of elderberry berries in a container and press the berries until the juice forms.
Bring the resulting puree to a boil and cook the berries, stirring constantly.
When the volume is reduced by half, fill in the sugar and mix.
Cook for about ten more minutes, stirring constantly.
Ready-made black elderberry jam is laid out in jars and rolled up with lids.
We leave the cans to cool, covering them with a blanket.
Ready-made jam from black elderberry turns out to be a thick red-black color.
