Sweet Cotton candy

Favorite childhood treat can be cooked at home! By the way, cooking cotton candy at home is not even a fairy tale at all)) All you need for this is three ordinary forks and sugar. Well, more water. It's all. Yes, take water three times less in volume than sugar.

The first thing to do is to secure suitable cotton wool holders on the table. You can take not only forks, but also Chinese chopsticks, for example. Forks should be placed opposite each other in a straight line. On these holders we will wind our cotton candy.

Pour sugar into a saucepan, pour water in a ratio of 3:1 (sugar: water). Add a drop of table vinegar. And food coloring, if we want colored cotton candy.

We heat everything over moderate heat, constantly stirring the mixture. Then turn off the heat and cool the mixture.

So we repeat 4-5 times. We need the moisture from the syrup to evaporate, but the syrup does not turn dark. That is, it should remain colorless as long as possible. But in the end, we will get it golden, viscous, thick.

Now we take the third fork, dip it in sugar syrup and start driving the other two forks fixed on the table. We wind cotton wool on forks like threads, bringing it to the volume we need. If suddenly the layer turns out to be loose, you can slightly flatten it with your hand (just don't overdo it).

After the sweet sugar oval is transferred to a stick (you can just roll the paper into a tube). You can just put cotton candy in a food bag. That's what I usually do.
