Maybe not everyone will appreciate the charm of this recipe. But it's worth a try! To be honest, I know only one recipe from such a fruit as quince - this is a food called Quince jam with nuts. Not so long ago, my husband's grandmother gave us literally a couple of kilograms of this fruit from the village and I did not find anything better than to cook this particular preparation according to my mother's culinary recipe. To begin with, thoroughly wash the quince, cut the fruit into four equal parts, cut out the seeds and cut the quince into slices.
In a saucepan, bring water with granulated sugar (syrup) to a boil.
After that, place the quince in the prepared boiling syrup and cook for 10 minutes. After this time, remove from the heat and leave for half a day.
After that, bring the jam to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes.
Cool again and leave for half a day.
For the third time, we bring our jam to a boil, put vanilla, crushed walnuts, lemon, cut into thin slices with peel. Immediately after removing the jam from the fire, we put it in jars and close it.
