Let's cook together — simple, homemade, and delicious dishes from everyday ingredients!

  • This green tomato and bell pepper salad is perfect as a side for any main dish, or as a cold appetizer all on its own. In winter, we could all use a few more vitamins — and instead of reaching straight for supplements, we can help our bodies fend off seasonal colds with real food. Green tomatoes are rich in amino acids and even contain omega-3s. Cooking neutralizes the compounds you'd want to avoid in raw green tomatoes, so this salad turns into a genuinely wholesome dish.
