- You'll need: 5 eggs, 1 tbsp mayonnaise, a pinch of salt, 25 g hard cheese, and 1 tbsp sour cream. Boil the 5 eggs (once the water comes to a boil, cook them for another 5 minutes). To cool them quickly, drain the hot water from the pot and run cold tap water over them several times. Peel the eggs, cut them exactly in half with a knife, and remove the yolks. On a plate separate from the yolks, grate the cheese on a medium grater (not too coarse, not too fine), add the sour cream (homemade or store-bought both work, though store-bought tastes better here), and mix the grated cheese and sour cream together well. (No salt needed in this part — it's already very tasty.) Now back to the yolks: add the mayonnaise to the yolks, season with salt, and mash the mixture well with a fork. Fill the egg halves with the yolk mixture and top with the grated cheese. That's it — the dish is ready! Enjoy! P.S. There's another version that's just as tasty: instead of sprinkling the cheese on top, mix the grated cheese right into the yolk filling. It's worth a try.
