Cooking method
- If your peanuts are raw, toss them into a skillet and toast them. In a separate skillet, toast the flour until golden. The skillet must be completely dry, and stir the flour now and then. Peel the skins off the toasted peanuts and grind them in a food processor. Add the toasted flour to the ground peanuts and mix everything well again. From the water, sugar, and vanilla sugar, cook a syrup: bring it to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir the vegetable oil into the syrup. Combine the syrup with the peanuts and mix thoroughly. Press the finished mixture into a mold and leave it until completely cool. Turn out the cooled peanut halva and serve. Enjoy!
