Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

First you need to rinse the potatoes well and cut out unnecessary eyes. There is no need to clean it, this is a nice feature of this dish. The crust of the potatoes turns out crispy, and it takes less time to cook!

Cut each potato into 8 slices. For a more effective serving of the dish, try to make slices of the same size.

We put our potatoes in a large bowl.

At the same time, we put a deep frying pan on a small fire and pour 10 grams of oil into it.

We put salt and paprika in a bowl with potatoes. Add the remaining oil and mix thoroughly. This can be done even with your hands, it will be more convenient. It is necessary to evenly distribute the spices over the potatoes so that each slice acquires a new taste.

We send our potatoes to a heated frying pan with hot oil.

We put our dish on a small fire. The slices of our potatoes are still larger than ordinary slices, so they need more time to cook, and even on medium heat they can burn.

Important! Do not add fresh herbs at the beginning of cooking, as they can burn and give an unpleasant flavor to the dish.

Fry the potatoes for about 20-25 minutes. It is not necessary to stir the potatoes often, otherwise we will not be able to preserve the beautiful shape of potato slices. It will be enough to stir the dish 3 or 4 times.

While the potatoes are fried, cut the garlic into small cubes, and finely chop the dill. I always have a bag of already chopped and frozen dill in my freezer, which is very convenient!

After 25 minutes of frying, add garlic to the potatoes and simmer on a small fire for a couple more minutes.

Put on plates, sprinkle with finely chopped dill and voila! Rustic potatoes with garlic are ready! Bon appetit!
