  • Cut the cheese into slices about 1/2 inch (1–1.5 cm) thick. Beat the eggs. Dip each slice first in the egg, then in flour, then back in the egg, and finally in breadcrumbs. Coat it well so the crumbs cover the whole surface — otherwise the cheese will ooze out. Fry on both sides until golden. Serve hot.
