Step 1:
How to make oatmeal cutlets? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Oat flakes can be used large, small, fast cooking or long cooking. Take a medium-sized onion or two small onions.

Boil the water and pour the oatmeal. Leave for 15 minutes if the flakes are instant and for 30 minutes if long cooking.
Step 3:
Peel onion and garlic, rinse. Cut the onion into 2-3 pieces.
Step 4:
Send the onion with garlic cloves into the bowl of a blender and chop into a puree.
Step 5:
Grate the potatoes on a fine grater.
Step 6:
In a container with oat flakes, send the chopped onion and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the grated potatoes. It is not necessary to drain the liquid from the potato mass.
Step 7:
Mix the oatmeal well with a spoon until smooth. Leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes.
Step 8:
Proceed to the formation of cutlets. Moisten your hands with cold water, take some minced oatmeal, make round or oblong cutlets, as you like.
Step 9:
Heat the refined vegetable oil in a frying pan. I use olive oil, but you can take refined vegetable oil. Lay out the cutlets. Fry on medium heat under the lid first on one side for about 7 minutes until golden brown.
Step 10:
Then turn over and fry on the other side until browned. Put the finished cutlets on a dish previously covered with paper towels to get rid of excess fat.
Step 11:
Oatmeal cutlets turn out ruddy, appetizing. Serve them to the table until they have cooled down with sour cream or your favorite sauce.
