Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a salad with smoked chicken and canned beans? To do this, you need to prepare all the ingredients. Drain the liquid from the canned beans. Rinse raw carrots well in running water to wash off all dirt from them. Crackers can be used ready-made purchased or prepared independently from bread. I will use homemade crackers.
Step 2:
Pour cold water over the raw washed carrots, put on fire and bring to a boil. Cook it in boiling water for about 20-25 minutes. It should become soft. Then cool the carrots and peel them. Cut the peeled carrots into small cubes for salad.
Step 3:
To make crackers, cut the bread into strips, 1.5 - 2 cm wide, and then into cubes. Cubes of bread can simply be dried in a dry frying pan or add a little vegetable oil. I prefer the option of crackers in butter. These turn out to be more fragrant and crispy. I recommend adding a little salt to the crackers. You can mix salt with various spices and dry herbs to enhance the taste.
Step 4:
To prepare a salad, combine canned beans and diced carrots in a spacious bowl.
Step 5:
Cut the smoked chicken meat into small cubes and add it to the salad bowl.
Step 6:
Then add the ready-made crackers to the salad.
Step 7:
Add a little chopped garlic to the salad and season everything with mayonnaise. Mix all the ingredients well.
Step 8:
Put the finished salad with red beans and smoked chicken in a salad bowl and serve to the table. If you do not immediately put it on the table, then do not add crackers. Stir them into the salad just before serving, otherwise they will become soft. Enjoy your meal!
The salad will look nice and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape (for example, cubes).
It is better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting
recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
