Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake pork on a bone in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for this. Pork loin on the bone is perfect for baking. I use dried basil as a fragrant spice. I really love its flavor and add it to almost all meat dishes. If desired, it can be replaced with marjoram, rosemary or any other to your taste.
Step 2:
Rinse pork in cold running water and dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Step 3:
To prepare the marinade, take a deep bowl and mix soy sauce, a little vegetable oil in it. Add dried basil and a little salt. By the amount of salt, focus on your taste, but keep in mind that soy sauce itself is quite salty. Perhaps salt will not be needed at all.
Step 4:
Pierce each piece of meat with a knife 3-4 times and put it in a bowl with marinade. Cover the bowl with a lid or cling film and leave to marinate for 3-4 hours at room temperature. If you plan to cook in 6-8 hours, then put the bowl in the refrigerator.
Step 5:
Before baking, remove the meat from the marinade and blot excess moisture from it. If it has been marinated in the refrigerator, then let it lie down a little at room temperature so that it warms up.
Step 6:
Place the prepared loin on the bones on the grill, and place a baking tray on the bottom to drain the liquid and fat. Place in the oven, preheated to 210 degrees, for 40-45 minutes. Be guided by your oven.
Step 7:
The finished meat will be covered with a fragrant golden crust, and the bone will darken. Remove it from the oven and serve it hot.
Step 8:
Supplement the baked loin on the bone with fresh herbs and vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
Choose a pork loin with a small amount of fat. Thanks to this, the pieces will be more juicy.
Pierce the meat with a knife: if the knife enters easily and the light juice flows, then it is ready, if the juice is pink or red, you need to continue cooking.
For this recipe, it is better to take not frozen, but fresh meat, otherwise the finished meat risks getting dry.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
