Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Now I'm going to tell you how to make a cold appetizer of tomatoes and cheese. This culinary recipe is impossibly simple and belongs to the budget option. We prepare the products that we will need. Tomatoes are chosen about the same size and shape, fresh, juicy and elastic. I have dill as greens, but you can also take parsley.
Step 2:
So, we begin the preparation of this dish by taking a hard or semi-hard cheese and grating it on a small grater. Sometimes I take cheese with paprika - it is characterized by small red inclusions and is ideal for such a dish.
Step 3:
Now we take garlic, peel it and chop it finely or press it through a garlic press, you can also just grate it on a grater with small divisions.
Step 4:
After that, we transfer the prepared garlic and cheese to a small deep bowl. Next, add to the resulting mass the amount of mayonnaise you need and mix everything well again. Take fat mayonnaise - 50 or 67%.
Step 5:
Now we take tomatoes, wash them well, dry them with a paper towel and cut them into circles with a sharp knife about 5-8 millimeters thick. We lay out the circles on a large flat dish in one layer.
Step 6:
We carefully and evenly apply our garlic-cheese mass on top of the circles. You can do this with a fork or a spoon soaked in water.
Step 7:
Decorate the snack with a sprig of dill or parsley, or you can pre-chop the greens and sprinkle it on top of the tomatoes. We give the dish a little time to soak. We serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
My most favorite food is a snack. It is the snack that sets the tone for a festive evening. As they say: "You won't have a second chance to make a first impression," so why not cook something simple but very tasty for yourself and your guests! And I also like to put these snack tomatoes on toasted toast - here's another version of this dish for you!
