Cooking method

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

How do you make baked chicken patties with mushrooms and cheese? Start by gathering your ingredients. You can use any mushrooms for these patties. I'm using wild mushrooms that I boiled and froze back in mushroom season. You can grind your own chicken by running the breast through a meat grinder, or just buy it pre-ground.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Peel the onion, rinse it, and finely chop. Finely chop the mushrooms too. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot skillet and cook the mushrooms and onion over low heat for 3–5 minutes. Then let the mushrooms cool a bit.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Put the ground chicken in a roomy bowl. Add the egg and the grated cheese.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Then add the sautéed mushrooms along with the flour and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and spices to taste—I use ground pepper.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Mix everything together well. The mixture will be thick and sticky.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

You can use any oven-safe baking dish. I use a metal one. Grease the bottom of the dish with vegetable oil. With wet hands, form the patties and arrange them in the dish. Bake in an oven preheated to 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes. Adjust to your own oven.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

About 5 minutes before they're done, you can flip the patties so they brown a little on the other side too. Take the finished patties out of the oven, add your favorite side dish, and serve. Enjoy!
