Semolina Dumplings with Cherry Sauce

A tasty treat for kids who don't care for semolina porridge. It's a great way to shake up the everyday kids' menu and get even the porridge-haters to eat it.

Cooking method

    Cook a thick porridge from the milk and semolina and sweeten it with sugar to taste. You can also use leftover porridge from breakfast or lunch for this.

    With wet hands, shape the cooled porridge into dumplings (little balls) and fry them in vegetable oil.

    Pit the cherries and purée them into a sauce with a blender.
