Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

Here are your ingredients. Rinse the meat, peel the onion and garlic, and rinse and dry the eggs.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Cut the meat into large chunks.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Grind it through a meat grinder together with the garlic and onion.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Add the white of 1 egg to the ground meat and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Now knead the mixture well with your hands and throw it against the bowl a few times — this helps it bind so the patties won't fall apart when you dip them in batter. For a firmer mixture, you can chill it in the fridge for 1–2 hours.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Mix the eggs with the flour and a little salt; you can also add the sour cream.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

The finished batter should be neither too thick nor too runny.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

Now we'll dip the meat mixture into the batter.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

Shape flat patties by hand and set them into the batter.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10

To keep the patty from breaking, I spooned batter over it instead.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11

Set them in the skillet and fry over low heat until golden. Then flip, cover with a lid, and cook another 5 minutes to finish.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12

Remove the finished patties and fry the rest. This amount made 12 patties for me.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13

    Enjoy!
