Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Break the eggs, separating the yolks from the whites. Put the container with proteins in the refrigerator. Grind the yolks with salt and sugar. Then pour in the milk. Add wheat flour. Beat all the ingredients with a mixer. Melt the butter over low heat. Pour the heated butter into the dough, add the soda slaked with vinegar and beat again. Get a container of proteins from the refrigerator. Whisk the whites into a strong foam, transfer to a container with dough and mix gently.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Heat the frying pan, melt a piece of butter on it (only for the first pancake). When the frying pan is heated up well enough, start frying pancakes (parts for the bear). For one portion of the pancake bear, you need to fry two small round pancakes, three small circles (ears and tail), four oblong small ovals (paws of the bear).

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

When all the parts of the cubs are fried, take plates (it is better to take plates of the same color), on each of which lay out the parts of the bears (muzzles, torsos, paws, ears and tails) and assemble the cubs from them.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Melt the chocolate pieces in a steam bath. With the help of sunflower seeds (in chocolate glaze), make bear eyes. Using melted chocolate and toothpicks to decorate the muzzles.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put mint leaves on plates, decorate with marmalade in the form of raspberries and blackberries, sprinkle berries and mint leaves with powdered sugar on top. The recipe for pancake batter is classic (only the amount of flour is greater), so you can serve completely different additives to them, for example, condensed milk, sour cream or jam. In the summer season, it is better to use fresh berries when preparing a dish.

Pancakes are loved by a lot of people, it's not a secret. To date, there are a huge number of pancake batter recipes and the same huge number of possibilities for the design of pancakes themselves. I decided to experiment and cook an original dish – bear cubs from pancakes. This recipe will appeal to both adults and children, because pancakes are even more delicious if they have an interesting design.
