Step 1:
Prepare the products according to the list.
Step 2:
Peel and wash the vegetables well.
Step 3:
Grate carrots on a coarse grater. Chop the onions into small cubes.
Step 4:
Heat the oil in a saucepan or cauldron and lightly fry the onion until transparent.
Step 5:
Add grated carrots and simmer all together.
Step 6:
Cut the chicken into large pieces. You can take the hips, wings or breast, as in the recipe. It is better to make chicken pieces portioned - so the meat will turn out juicier.
Step 7:
Lay the chicken pieces on top of the cooked onion and carrot dressing.
Step 8:
Add diced potatoes. Add water so that it does not reach the surface. Cook over medium heat until the potatoes are half cooked.
Step 9:
Add sour cream, mix the contents of the saucepan.
Step 10:
Add salt, bay leaf and any spices.
Step 11:
Lubricate the surface of the potatoes with mayonnaise (I think this is not necessary, because the special role of mayonnaise in the dish is not noticeable). Simmer until tender. In
Step 12:
The finished dish can be used as a whole lunch - both as soup and as a second together. If you add less water, you will get a thick second course. Choose the option to your taste.
