Braised Chicken with Plums
You can use chicken breast, but drumstick meat is more tender. Choose firmer plums rather than soft ones, so they don't cook down to mush right away and keep a little of their pleasant tartness.

Cooking method

Step 1:
Measure out the ingredients.

Wash the plums, cut them in half, and pit them. Cut each half in two.

Peel the onion and slice it into half-moons.

Wash, dry, and finely chop the parsley.

Cut the chicken into medium pieces.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté the onion for about 2 minutes.

Add the chicken, stir, and fry together for another 10 minutes.

Add the plums, parsley, salt, and pepper to the meat. Mix everything well and simmer, covered, over low heat for another 15 minutes.
