  • KFC has won over the world with its treats, but they aren't cheap — and most home cooks have wondered at least once whether they could make a favorite dish themselves. That's exactly what this recipe is for: spicy, fragrant chicken bites you can enjoy to your heart's content without leaving home. The nice bonus? It's not expensive at all! Buy your chicken breast from a source you trust — it should be fresh, never frozen, since frozen meat is often stale or spoiled. 1. Pour the milk into a bowl and crack in the egg. Add half of the ground paprika and salt to taste, then whisk by hand. 2. Whisk in some of the flour (about 100 grams), continuing until the mixture is like sour cream with no lumps. 3. Rinse the chicken breast under running water and cut it into pieces. Add the pieces to the bowl of batter, stir to coat, and refrigerate for two hours. 4. Put the remaining spices and flour in a sturdy plastic bag and shake to combine. 5. Working in small batches, drop the chicken pieces into the flour mixture and shake vigorously to coat. 6. Meanwhile, pour the oil into a deep pan and heat it. Once hot, lower in the breaded chicken pieces. 7. Bread and fry the bites in batches, lifting out the golden pieces with a slotted spoon. That's it — time to dig in. And don't forget a dipping sauce! Enjoy!
