Chicken in Honey Sweet and Sour Sauce

An easy, delicious, and unexpected dish! Chicken breast is lean and tender meat, and it's cooked in just about every household. I want to share a recipe I got from a neighbor. I dropped by her place and it smelled amazing — she was making chicken in an unusual, tangy sauce. I made it at home and my husband was thrilled. Serve it with a side dish or with vegetables. Definitely one to keep in your back pocket!

    1. Peel the onion and slice it thinly into half-rings. 2. Heat a skillet and add a little vegetable oil. Lightly sauté the onion. 3. Rinse the chicken breast and set it on a paper towel to drain off the excess moisture. Cut it into strips and add it to the onion to fry. 4. Cut the bell pepper and tomatoes into strips and add them to the chicken. Sauté lightly. 5. Add the remaining ingredients: honey, soy sauce, and seasonings (turmeric and ground pepper work well). Press in the garlic and salt to taste. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Our dish is ready!
