Chopped Chicken and Cheese Cutlets
Chicken cutlets with cheese and herbs — finger-licking good! My son had been asking me for ages to make something like McDonald's nuggets. So I made these cutlets. They're not exactly the same thing, of course, but just as tasty. The secret is that the meat isn't run through a grinder — it's chopped by hand with a knife. The cutlets come out incredibly juicy and tender.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Gather the ingredients.
-
Step 2:
Grate the cheese on the fine side of a grater. Rinse the herbs, pat them dry, and chop finely.
-
Step 3:
Rinse the chicken breast, pat it dry, and cut it into small pieces.
-
Step 4:
Combine the meat, cheese, mustard, and herbs.
-
Step 5:
Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
-
Step 6:
Beat the egg until smooth and add a little salt.
-
Step 7:
Pour the breadcrumbs onto a plate.
-
Step 8:
Shape the mixture into medium-sized cutlets.
-
Step 9:
Roll each cutlet in breadcrumbs, dip it in the beaten egg, and roll it in breadcrumbs again.
-
Step 10:
Fry the cutlets in hot butter on both sides until golden brown.
- I ended up with 8 medium-sized cutlets.
