Cooking method
Knead the dough:
- sift the flour into a bowl;
- add salt, break the egg, pour in water;
- knead the unleavened dough (the dough does not stick to your hands, dense, elastic);
- leave the dough for 20 minutes.
Peel the onion, finely chop it, put it in a frying pan and fry it in a mixture of butter and vegetable oils until soft and transparent. Cheese is grated, dill is washed, dried with a paper towel (or washed in advance, give time to dry) and finely chopped. Combine cheese, dill and onion, taste, add salt to taste.
Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces, roll out into a thin layer. We spread the filling on one half of the layer, cover the top with the other side of the layer, carefully press down the edges. The edge can be trimmed with a round dough knife.
Fry the miracle in a hot frying pan on both sides until lightly browned. Hot tortillas are generously greased with melted butter and served on the table.
