  • Start by dicing the cucumbers, onion, bell pepper, and tomatoes, and chopping the fresh herbs. You can cut the whelks into strips or leave them whole. For the salad, the whelk meat needs a quick fry: pour some oil into a skillet and add the whelks to the already-hot surface. This should take no more than three minutes, after which the whelks need to cool. While they cool, combine all the chopped vegetables and the olives and keep them chilled. Once the whelks have cooled, add them to the vegetables along with the salt, pepper, and chopped herbs. Mix everything well. The dish is ready! Enjoy!
