Chicken and bacon lines

A hearty dish with the first spring mushrooms - fragrant and delicious! I was very surprised that the lines are not considered edible mushrooms and even in their raw form are toxic, but I always knew that before cooking, they need to be boiled and rinsed. This is the first spring mushroom and we do not miss the chance to eat it every April.

The mushroom is considered conditionally edible and requires mandatory preparation. It consists in boiling in salted water for half an hour, after which the mushrooms should be thrown into a colander and rinsed well, then squeezed out. If in doubt, you can boil the mushrooms three times, bringing the first two times to a boil and draining the water.

While the mushrooms are cooking, wash, dry and cut the chicken fillet. Fry it until browned in butter together with bacon cut into small pieces. Add the boiled and chopped mushrooms, fry all together for 5-10 minutes.

Put chopped leeks in a frying pan, lightly sprinkle with flour, pour in milk. Add salt. Simmer everything together for a few minutes, after which the finished dish can be served to the table.

Bon appetit!
