Pork loin with garlic and onion in the oven

A great option for a holiday table! Make it — it's delicious! What I love about pork loin is that it's easy to cook and doesn't require any special culinary skills. And yet it tastes wonderful and can hold its own as the centerpiece of a festive table.

  • After prepping and rinsing the pork, pat it dry with a paper towel. Stud the loin with slivers of garlic. Peel the onion and slice it into rings, then spread them over the bottom of a baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Season the loin with spices and salt and set it on top of the onion. Warm the honey and combine it with the mustard and soy sauce. Cover the dish with foil, put it in the oven, and after half an hour baste the meat with the sauce. Repeat this roughly every 20 minutes. For the meat to cook through, it will need about two hours at 350°F (180°C). Near the end (about 10 minutes before it's done), remove the foil so a crust can form. The dish is ready!
