Brazilian-Style Meatballs

A simple dish with an unusual touch of sweetness! I love cooking something new, and this time I decided to try a Brazilian dish. The meat turned out tasty, though it's not for everyone — the sauce it's spooned over gives it a sweet edge.

Cooking method

    For the sauce: combine the tomato juice, sugar, the remaining onion, and the pineapple cut into small pieces, and stir.

    Shape the mixture into evenly sized balls, arrange them in a skillet, and fry for 10 minutes with the lid on.

    Pour the sauce over the meatballs and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes and rice. Enjoy!
