Who in our country does not like pancakes. In Belarus, they are prepared in their own way. There is one wonderful culinary recipe called "Leaves with cottage cheese". This dish is eaten much faster in our house than the most delicious homemade cake. The leaves are very thin pancakes, which are rolled into a tube, and then filled with oil and languish in the oven.
Let's get down to cooking them.
First of all, sift the flour through a sieve. Add salt and sugar to it, mix thoroughly. We take another container. Pour warm milk into it, to which we add one egg and vegetable oil. Next, mix the two containers together, namely flour and milk. Knead the dough and leave it to rest for 2 hours. After that, add a little water to the dough. Fry the leaves on medium heat in a frying pan, greased with unsalted bacon.
During the 2-hour rest of the dough, prepare the filling for the leaves. Take cottage cheese, sugar and eggs. Whisk them to such an extent that they turn into a creamy mass. If you like the smell of vanilla, then add vanilla to the mass.
Put one tablespoon of filling on each leaflet. We put it in the center of the pancake and smear it all over the territory. We roll the pancake into a tube. We put all the resulting leaves in a container. Place pieces of butter between the pancakes. Sprinkle all the leaves liberally with sugar. Heat the oven to 50 degrees and put the pancakes in it for 2-3 hours.
Bon appetit!
