To begin with, cut the crust off the bread, put the bread on a plate, pour milk and leave to soak. Put the minced meat, chopped garlic, parsley and egg in a bowl, add bread soaked in milk, salt, pepper and mix well. Divide the mixture into 20 small balls, rolling them with moistened hands, sprinkle the balls with flour. In a wide frying pan, heat the vegetable oil, put the meatballs there and fry until they are browned on all sides. Take it out and put it in a large saucepan. Scroll through the canned tomatoes in a blender and pour the meatballs with this puree. Add the basil, sugar and leave on low heat for 20-25 minutes, until the tomatoes thicken to the consistency of sauce. Served with boiled pasta.
