- Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain, add the butter, and mash. Season with salt and pepper if needed, mix, and let cool. 2. Peel and finely chop the onion, then fry it in vegetable oil. Add the ground meat to the onion and cook, stirring now and then, seasoning with salt and pepper as you go. Let the finished filling cool. 3. Add the eggs and flour to the mashed potatoes and knead into a dough. Start with just one egg and check the consistency - the dough should hold together and not be too loose. For the filling, chop the marinated mushrooms and mix them with the grated cheese. 4. Once the dough and filling are ready, oil your hands, flatten a piece of dough into a round a bit smaller than your palm, place about 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling in the center, and pinch it closed into a pie. 5. Fry the pies in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Since all the ingredients are already cooked, you just need to brown and heat the pies through. Done - enjoy!
