Cut the onion into thin rings or half rings and fry until golden brown. Add grated carrots and finely (thinly) chopped parsley root on a coarse grater. Mix it up. While the vegetables are being fried over low heat, cut the cod cleaned of scales and insides into pieces about 2 cm thick and put it on top of the fried vegetables.
