Cooking method
My acquaintance with the culinary recipe of a young piglet with onion-honey sauce took place at one of the culinary exhibitions, and when I tried it for the first time, I was simply amazed at the delicate taste of this food. I start cooking it only if I have a few hours of free time. First of all, I bake the pig in the oven until dark golden brown. The baking time depends on both the oven and the size of the piglet. Then I cook onion-honey sauce: fry finely chopped onion, pour cream and honey and beat the mixture with a blender. When the sauce is ready, I boil potatoes, carrots and zucchini. Zucchini peel and cut into cubes. Next, I spread the cooled piglet on an oval dish, cut into portions, preserving the shape of the carcass. In the end, I cover it with vegetables and herbs. I always serve it to the table with onion-honey sauce. A young piglet with onion-honey sauce and vegetables will delight lovers of ancient Russian cuisine, and those who have never tasted such tender pork meat even ask for additives.
