Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake puff pastry pies with cabbage in the oven? Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2:
For the filling, thinly and quite finely chop the cabbage.
Step 3:
So that the cabbage strips are not long, cut them across after chopping. Put the cabbage in a large frying pan or cauldron.
Step 4:
Peel and cut the onion into small cubes and put it to the cabbage.
Step 5:
Peel and grate the carrots and put them to the cabbage and onion.
Step 6:
Mix the chopped vegetables, add oil and put on fire.
Step 7:
Add tomato paste and spices to taste. Simmer until the cabbage is soft. If the cabbage is not juicy, gradually add water during the extinguishing process. Cool the filling.
Step 8:
Roll out the dough on a floured table and divide into rectangles. Put a spoonful of cabbage on each.
Step 9:
Roll up the pie.
Step 10:
It is convenient to pinch the edges with a fork. This is what Mexicans do when cooking their empanadas (the same pies, but in Mexico, the fillings, of course, are a little different from ours).
Step 11:
Put the pies on a baking sheet, prick the top layer of dough with a fork and put it in the oven. 180 degrees and half an hour of time plus or minus 5 minutes - and you can get it.
Step 12:
The pies are ready.
Enjoy!
Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it. How to determine the roasting temperature and choose the best oil for frying, and which one is better not to use at all, read here .
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
