Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for stewing turkey fillet in sour cream. Turkey fillet is better to buy chilled in the store, unlike frozen food, it retains more nutrients and vitamins. The turkey fillet is washed and cut into small cubes. We wash the meat again to remove blood clots.
Step 2:
Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes or halves of rings.
Step 3:
Pour a little vegetable oil into a deep frying pan with a thick bottom. Vegetable oil can be replaced with olive oil, then the dish will turn out even more useful and less high-calorie. Turn on the fire, heat up the oil. We put the cooked onions on the oil. Fry it for 7 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden or silicone spatula.
Step 4:
Then we send the turkey fillet, cut into pieces, to the onion in the pan. Fry the meat with onions, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes, until the meat turns white.
Step 5:
In a small container, put a few tablespoons of thick, high-fat sour cream. Add salt, ground red pepper to taste, you can put some more spices or herbs to taste. Pour in half a glass of water, put a tablespoon of flour, mix the mixture until smooth, so that the flour does not gather into lumps. Then pour the sour cream filling into the pan with the turkey.
Step 6:
Stir, reduce the heat to slow, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for about 25 minutes. Periodically check the condition of the dish, mix. If the sauce becomes too thick, then you can add a small amount of water, bring the mixture to a boil and turn off the heat. We leave the dish to stand under the lid for a few minutes and serve it to the table.
