Cooking method
I propose to cook a delicious pilaf in a duck house. We will cook it today with chicken. So, let's start with meat. My chicken, cut into rather large pieces. Next, peel the carrots, onions and garlic. We cut them: carrots and garlic - large strips, onions - finely.
Rice is washed, we do it carefully until clear water flows. Warm up the duck house with vegetable oil, put the onion in it and fry for a few minutes. Add the chopped chicken, fry for five minutes, not forgetting to stir.
Now put the carrots and garlic, fry for a few more minutes. Pour salt, ground pepper, spices, add black pepper, bay leaf. Pour hot water, of course boiled, simmer for a few minutes.
We put rice in the duck house, if necessary, add water (the water level should be a couple of centimeters higher than rice). Also, if necessary, add salt.
Bring the contents of the duck house to a boil, turn down the heat, cover with a lid and cook the pilaf for about half an hour. Everything is ready! Enjoy your appetite!
