Squid Tentacles in Sauce

Wonderfully tasty seafood made a special way — give it a try! The look of squid puts some people off, and I've heard all kinds of opinions about it. But everyone who's tried squid cooked this way has come away happy and joined the ranks of its fans.

  • Heat a skillet over the burner and add the olive oil. Add the chopped onion and half of the chopped parsley, and press in the garlic. Sauté everything together for five to seven minutes over medium heat. Then turn up the heat and pour the wine into the pan. Once the wine has cooked off, add the squid and fry for five minutes. Stir in the tomato sauce and chili powder, cover, and keep cooking over moderate heat. This takes another forty minutes; season with salt at the end. When the squid is done, arrange it on a plate and sprinkle with the remaining parsley. It's excellent served over pasta. Enjoy!
