Cooking method
Dear friends, I want to share with you a cooking recipe that I once heard on TV. My family really likes this food, and I'm sure you'll like it too.
First we wash the rice and put it in a saucepan. Pour 300 ml of water. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat, cover it with a lid and leave to cook for 30 minutes (until the rice becomes soft). Then you need to drain the water and cool the rice.
Put the boiled rice in a bowl, add yogurt, 3 chopped garlic cloves, egg (lightly beaten), ground cumin and cinnamon, raisins, finely chopped green onions and mint. Then we mix it all together.
Fresh grape leaves boil them in salted water for 2-3 minutes, and then rinse them in cold water. After that, we put the leaves on the cutting board (shiny side down). Put 1-2 tablespoons of filling on each leaf (closer to the stem) and make cabbage rolls. We put them in a steamer, and put the remaining peeled garlic between them. Then you need to sprinkle the cabbage rolls with lemon juice and olive oil. Cook cabbage rolls for 40 minutes. Our "Cabbage rolls from grape leaves in the Jewish way" are ready. Enjoy your appetite!
