Cooking method
One of my favorite cooking recipes is chicken in lemon sauce. I suggest you cook this excellent meal, spending a little time, and appreciate the stunningly delicate taste of chicken breasts, which they acquire with the following cooking method. To begin with, you will need to wash and dry the breasts, pour olive oil into a large deep saucepan and, when it warms up enough, put the chicken there. Then fry the breasts thoroughly on both sides until they acquire a light golden hue, then transfer to a plate. Fry the onion in the same oil until transparent. Add carrots, celery and basil, fry them together with onions for a few minutes so that they are completely soaked in oil. Put the chicken breasts on top of the vegetables, pour lemon juice on top. First, add the juice of only one lemon, try it and, if the dish does not seem very sour to you, pour in the juice of the second. When the juice has evaporated a little, add the specified amount of water and spices. Then cook over low heat, stirring, for 45 minutes or about an hour. Everything is ready! It remains to put it on a plate and enjoy the wonderful taste of this Greek dish. As a side dish option, I suggest using homemade noodles, spaghetti or rice, you can decorate the top with thinly sliced lemon slices. Bon appetit!
